Brittany Garza

MA, LPC, NMCFIT

Hi, I'm Brittany! I created Balance and Boundaries because I want to provide a space for marginalized identities to feel safe, seen, and heard. People should not have to teach their provider about their lived experiences, nor experience shame or judgment.

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2019. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition, Health, and Wellness from Texas Tech University in 2015.

I completed the Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s year-long Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Training program in conjunction with Journey Clinical’s Ketamine Assisted Therapy certification in October of 2025. Additionally, I have training in supplying ethical documentation to insurance providers for LGBTQIA+ individuals to maintain safety, privacy, and confidentiality.

I draw inspiration from nature, art, my ancestors, and the hope of an anti-oppressive future for individuals with multiple intersectional identities.

When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time in nature, tending to my plants, making art, and spending quality time with my spouse and two pets.
